Born in Tamil Nadu, Label Agai is a reflection of the love we’ve always had for Kanjivaram silk. Watching our mothers and grandmothers wrap themselves in these elegant weaves left an imprint on our hearts. What started as a small dream to celebrate these timeless crafts has now grown into a homegrown label, nurtured with love, creativity, and the unwavering support of family and friends.

Honoring Craft & Tradition:

Each saree we create is more than just fabric—it’s a tribute to the artisans who bring it to life. From traditional tie and dye, Kalamkari, and embroidery to contemporary digital prints, we strive to keep the beauty of handmade weaves alive. We personally visit artisans, learn their craft, and work closely with them to help preserve and revive their age-old techniques.

A Step Towards Sustainability:

In 2021, we introduced Eco printing on Kanjivaram silk, blending nature’s art with tradition. Sustainability isn’t just a trend for us—it’s a responsibility we embrace with every creation, ensuring that our craft respects both heritage and the world around us.
